So, BSides was last week. There are plenty of awesome talks. My favorite was Aaron Crawford, which spoke about social engineering. Aaron basically hacked a power strip and a baby monitor to listen in on an opposing team’s conversations during a simulated cyber attack. He also used fake packaging and some crafty Photoshop to fool the other team into using jump drives with spyware on them. Pretty clever guy! Here’s a video that’s got more information:
